Our founder, Jon Will, started out working at his family's nursery doing landscaping and pinning burlap bags on the thousands of trees that were sold around the country. After working in the family business he moved on to working at a supplier for the "BIG 3". During his time at this company he learned everything there is to know about cold heading nuts and bolts. He spent a substantial amount of his adult working life here perfecting his knowledge of the cold heading business. It was a natural progression for him to move on to creating his own business cold heading nails from American cold rolled steel. Today, Jon is actively involved with every aspect of the company and ensures that our employees have the same dedication to producing a quality product like he did. Jon is helping the next generation form the skills of this trade to ensure a bright future for Michigan Fastener. With a company that is built on the foundation of quality products and skilled and appreciated employees, Jon's next goal to be the largest nail manufacturer in the country should not be difficult for him to attain.
